Trail Report
Starting at Takao Station (convenience stores at both exits), run 1 km through residential streets. After climbing a slope, enter the forest trail via an unmarked path – a fun backdoor approach!
The well-defined trail begins abruptly after the neighborhood. Enjoy:

Reach Mt. Kusato faster than expected! Relax at the summit bench with panoramic views before your return.
The descent flows smoothly – cruise downhill as urban sounds gradually return. Rejoin paved roads and run 1 km back through neighborhoods to Takao Station.
