basically, very safe, one of most safety trail in the Taiwan mountains. if there have dangerous, staffs will let you know. and also announced at shei-pa national park website. |
| その他周辺情報 | the location of trail entrance is at the end of “Wu - Ling farm”. “WuLing Farm” provides hotels, camping area…etc what i know is camping area has shower room, its much cheaper than hotels if you want take a rest after hiking. but all these services must booking. for more INFO please check “Wuling-Farm” website. |

369 shelter, point of view from the east peak of sylvia.
since the “369 shelter” currently under maintenance,this arrows show you the new trail to camping area or go ahead to peak.

this is “369 camping area”, as i mentioned before the shelter’s main building is under maintenance.but you still allow camp at this area and tent is provide by national park so you don’t have to bring the tent by yourself.

so the main building maintenance will estimate finish at 2025/01/12. it’s excited to meet the new shelter.

last 1k to the top, beautiful place.
yes, last 1k but i spent almost 2 hours…
at Top of Sylvia, I am lucky to have amazing view to see the endless peak connected. its a famous trail start at “Mount Dabajian” and end at “Sylvia”, We called it “Holy Ridge Trail”

the entire hiking trail 10.9k, i think only this few meters have risk. location is about 20-30 minutes after pass the “369 shelter”.

感想
i have been to “risiri san” at Hokkaido in July/2024, and this time…
compare with rishiri, of course the view between these mountains are hard to say which is more beautiful.
but i want to share about “ fatigues”
the fatigues between this two mountains i feel almost same.
which means if your have ability to go to top of “rishiri san”
then you should go to top of sylvia without problems.
i think.
