After the ponds this is where I typically head back down but I went this way to get up to Mt. Rokko.

Decent trail here. A bit boring.
The trail deadends into the road here. Watch out for cars.
Up over the hill to the shrine here.

And after a quick stop at the top of Mt. Rokko to play Pokemon Go, back on the trail. Not too busy today.

The haze began to clear offering great views of the Osaka Plain.

The tourist top of Mt Rook was closed and deserted.
New trail for me here. This is Diamond Point on the inland side of the Mt Rokko ridge line. It looks down on the Arimakaido and Shintetsu Railway line. Time to get off the mountain.

This new trail for me begins with a steep staircase decent.
Cool trail conditions with some up and downs plus a bit of climbing. Good views here and there. Sadly the highway below fills the valley with traffic noise. Lots of spiderwebs crossing the trail when I went down this one. It doesn't look like this trail gets used that often.

感想
Lovely route and I want to try the other ways down to the Shintetsu line from Rokko again soon.
