四国遠征2日目は「四国で最も険しい山」と言われる石立山。「石（岩）を立てた様な山」がその名の由来とか。確かに上りも下りもずっと急登が続いた。
平日だったので他に登山者は居らず不安を感じることは無かったが、登山者が多いと人為落石が怖そう。
