The first half up from Arimine car park/bus stop is a nice dirt path in the forest, but mostly too steep to run. Once out of the trees, the route flattens sufficently to run along the stone path/wood boards to the campsite. From therem the rock route is too steep to run for the first half, but the final ridge route to the summit, though rocky, is splendid. Unfortunately the rock surfaces are very sharp and coarse, and running on these destroyed the dog's paw pads. She was bleeding and unable to walk the next day. Running with hound not recommended. |
